Root love and Conversation culturist

To begin with, I really love culture especially All the culture in here Sabah.

There is so many sub ethnic in here. The difference of the races stick us together so close in a way.

One of the things that i really wanna do something about is to start with myself learning Native language Kadazan.

I will now listening to Kadazan radio every morning and going to church on kadazan session purposely. It will help me grow to love and nurture my mother tongue language.

The Lost Art I’ll Always Treasure: Handwriting

In a world racing toward digital everything, there’s something beautifully personal about handwriting. The swirl of each letter, the quiet focus it demands, and the satisfaction of seeing your thoughts take shape on paper — it’s a simple joy I’ll never trade for a touchscreen.

For me, handwriting is therapy. It slows my mind when life feels too fast. It turns to-do lists into little works of art. It helps me process my thoughts, dreams, and prayers in ways typing never could. There's magic in seeing ink flow from pen to paper, crafting words that feel personal and real.

Whether it’s jotting down a meaningful quote, scribbling ideas for my next ceramah, or just doodling names of places I dream to visit — handwriting keeps me grounded.

And honestly, nothing beats the feel of holding a favorite pen, the crisp texture of fresh pages, and that quiet moment where it’s just me, my thoughts, and a story waiting to be written.

The Sparkling Soul of JD

A vibrant, faith-rooted, and dynamic woman, you wear many hats with grace and heart. A proud mother of four daughters and one son, you balance a beautiful life of family, career, creativity, and passion.

Since January 13, 2016, you’ve served as a Senior Agriculture Officer, and today, you lead with purpose as the Unit Lead at the Quality Section, Unit Pembangunan Organisasi dan Kerjaya. Your work isn’t just a job — it’s a calling. You love doing extension work, delivering ceramahs to farmers, students, and stakeholders, bridging knowledge, empowerment, and community growth.

In your downtime, you shine just as brightly. A creative soul, you find joy in braiding beads into ‘pinongkoloh selendang’, keeping tradition alive with your own touch. Your sporty, competitive edge shines too — with trophies in darts and chess, medals in fun walks, and a deep love for javelin, shot put, and discus.

You’re a lifelong achiever, proudly holding 7As in PMR, 8As in SPM, and currently acing your Master’s degree with a flawless 4.0 CGPA.

Your heart belongs to the world, with a soft spot for Japan (your forever favorite), and cherished memories of Bali and Taiwan — especially for their amazing vegetarian restaurants. Speaking of food, your daily delights are Tealive and waffles.

A woman of faith and resilience, your favorite verse,

“Segalanya dapat ku tampung kerana Engkau Tuhan” (Filipi 4:13),
guides you through every chapter.

Music fuels your soul — from Hillsong worship songs to relaxing tunes and those memory-boosting tracks that power your sharp mind. And when you need to unwind close to home, you find peace at Lokawi Zoo in Kota Kinabalu.

You’re a leader. A mother. A traveler. A creator. A champion. A believer.
